Why Baking

Hey! I’m Shavontá (you can call me Shavon) and I’m thrilled to welcome you to Baked X Von LOUJ! I have always loved the idea of creating something with my hands and sharing that love with others. I grew up in a small South Georgia town, so southern hospitality is something that has been instilled in me from the beginning. I watched my Grandma and Mama take care of people, sharing their love through cooking extravagant Sunday meals with the most delicious homemade baked treats, and after church, people dropping by, filing in and out of the kitchen all afternoon. That's where my love for baking was born, nurtured, & grown into what it is today. Baking is therapeutic, it's good for the soul, and getting to share that with you is so special.
